The internal structure of hadrons

One of the main goals for the early phase of the precision energy scan planned by the PANDA collaboration is to explore and identify the nature of exotic states in the charmonium energy region.

This project of the Helmholtz Research Academy Hesse for FAIR plans to perform a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the internal structure of these states using a combination of lattice gauge theory and functional approaches of quantum chromodynamics. 

The main goal is to clearly distinguish between states of different structures. Complementary to the expected experimental results at PANDA, work will be done to elucidate the underlying dynamics of the theory responsible for the internal structure of these states.
