Lattice Gauge Theory
Partly it is not possible to calculate the full theory. This is where the lattice gauge theory comes into play.

- received his doctorate in 2006 in Erlangen and habilitated there in 2015
- researches theoretical particle physics and quantum field theory using lattice gauge theory
- holds a professorship at the Institute for Theoretical Physics at the Goethe University Frankfurt
