By means of electromagnetic probes, one can learn something about the interior of hot and dense matter.
Vita
- received his PhD from the Goethe University Frankfurt in 1999, where he also habilitated in 2007
- researches, among other things, numerical simulations for the dynamics of hadron and heavy ion collisions
- has held a professorship in Theoretical Physics at Goethe University Frankfurt since 2010
- has been the executive director of the Helmholtz Research Academy Hesse for FAIR since 2020.
