The workhorse of any particle accelerator facility is, of course, the accelerator as such. Here we present the SIS 100.
Vita
- received his PhD in 1999
- conducts research, among other things, on the development of particle accelerators and their subcomponents
- has held a professorship at the Goethe University Frankfurt since 2002
- is one of the directors of the Helmholtz Research Academy Hesse for FAIR since 2021
