Vita
- received his doctorate in 1993 in Bonn, where he also habilitated in 2004
- conducts research on the structure of neutron stars, neutrinos in the proto-neutron star, and hadronic matter under extreme conditions, among other topics
- is a lecturer at the TU Darmstadt
