Transport simulations provide the opportunity to understand the collision dynamics of a nucleus-nucleus collision in as much detail as possible.
Vita
- received his doctorate at the TU Darmstadt and habilitated at the Justus-Liebig-Universiät Gießen from 2005-2006
- researches the structures and properties of exotic (short-lived) nuclei, which are formed in nature during the burning phase of stars in nuclear fusion processes or in a supernova explosion.
- holds a professorship for Experimental Nuclear Physics at the Justus-Liebig-University of Giessen
